Today an overall development of the child precedes the average academic pursuit. Values in life and an overall perspective has become an imperative to beat the competition and survive.

Most parents in the metropolis or rural area, though willing, are unable to practically provide their children with a regular development programme.

With this in mind and a commitment within, the Swantantryaveer Savarkar Seva Samiti has started Maharashtra Military School (MMS), a unique Sainik School from Std. Fifth to Tenth, in the year 1993.

The Uniqueness of the MMS is in its objective to prepare young, motivated students with a disciplined attitude, a quality of leadership, patriotism, imbibed in them. To achieve this pupil here is taught to understand the dignity of labour & to cultivate habit of discipline. Emphasis is laid not only on academics but also on development of hobbies and participation in various indoor & outdoor sports activities.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Under the Presidency of Shri Vikram Savarkar this school emphasis is laid not only on academics but also on motivating the students to cultivate habits through sports, hobbies, adventure training and defence study.

The school today enjoy a patronage of over 280 students studying from 5th to 10th and is on the verge of staring a junior college. The school premise is spread over 12 acres with two playgrounds, one of which include an international size Hockey ground.

The school infrastructure also includes big classrooms, excellent Hostel and Mess facilities and an Assembly hall.
